As a UN3480 classified lithium-ion energy storage device, Citycoco lithium battery must follow strict international dangerous goods packaging, sealing, shockproof, fireproof and transportation regulatory requirements in logistics, land transportation, sea freight and air express links to avoid short circuit, collision damage, thermal runaway and safety accidents. First-level inner packaging adopts individual independent sealing treatment: each single battery is wrapped with anti-static PE film and flame-retardant bubble cotton in all directions, the positive and negative output terminals are covered with insulating plastic protective caps to completely isolate external contact and prevent accidental short circuit during transportation. The battery body is embedded in custom-molded high-density EPS shockproof foam groove, which fully fits the overall outline of Citycoco battery, all edges and corners are fully cushioned, which can resist 1.5-meter free fall impact and continuous vibration during long-distance transportation without internal cell damage. Then the single-packaged battery is placed in thickened five-layer corrugated kraft paper outer carton, the gap between carton and foam is filled with fire-retardant honeycomb paperboard, and the carton is sealed with high-adhesion waterproof strapping tape with full-seam sticking. For bulk batch transportation of multiple batteries, independent partition isolation is adopted between each battery pack to avoid mutual extrusion and friction collision between metal shells.

International and domestic transportation labeling compliance is mandatory for all Citycoco battery packages. The outer box must be clearly printed with UN3480 lithium battery dangerous goods UN number, 9-class dangerous goods warning label, upward direction arrows, flammable warning, anti-static mark, fragile mark and MSDS safety instruction prompt, and all labels are waterproof, wear-resistant and not easy to fall off. The transportation environment has strict temperature and humidity limits: the whole logistics process is controlled at -20℃ to 60℃ ambient temperature, avoiding direct sunlight exposure, high-temperature closed warehouse baking, rain immersion and moisture erosion. Land road transportation requires fixed stacking, no overloading, no pressing heavy objects above battery cartons, and smooth driving to reduce frequent sharp bumps. Sea freight transportation needs additional wooden case reinforcement for large-batch goods, the wooden box is equipped with moisture-proof lining and flame-retardant isolation layer, and meets international non-wooden fumigation certification requirements to pass customs clearance smoothly. Air transportation is restricted by aviation lithium battery regulations: only limited quantity passenger aviation transportation is allowed, all batteries must keep 30%–50% half-charge state (prohibited full charge and zero charge transportation), with complete UN38.3 test report, MSDS safety data sheet, CE certification documents and customs declaration materials, and strictly forbidden to be carried in passenger hand luggage, only consigned cargo transportation is permitted.

In addition, storage and transit temporary placement specifications are also included in the overall transportation requirements. Citycoco battery packages shall be stored away from open fire, heat sources, corrosive chemicals and metal sundries, stacked in layers with limited height, and bottom moisture-proof pads are laid in the warehouse. During loading, unloading and handling, light lift and light place are strictly implemented, throwing, dropping, knocking and reversing placement are completely prohibited. After arriving at the destination, unpacking inspection is required to confirm shell integrity, terminal seal and no abnormal bulging of the battery body.
